Inc. 5000 firm The Basement Moving to Union Station

Nationally recognized growth drives need for bigger quarters

               

INDIANAPOLIS – To accommodate growth that this week landed it on the Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing companies, Indianapolis digital agency The Basement will move this fall to a new Union Station headquarters.

 

The Inc. 5000 listing, based on three-year revenue figures, recognizes the firm’s 69 percent growth, from revenue of $1.2 million in 2010 to $2 million last year. The Basement claimed the 4,188th spot on the overall list, and the 54th ranking among media companies.

 

“This listing underscores the increased use of digital channels among our clients’ customers and the power of digital storytelling within those channels,” said The Basement President Jacob Leffler. “We’re growing because our clients have seen what happens when customers truly connect with brands.”

 

With a portfolio featuring national and local firms including Simon, KFC, Helmer Scientific and the NCAA, The Basement has outgrown its eastside offices. This fall, it will move into a 7,200 square-foot space in Indianapolis’ historic Union Station.
