The Basement Claims Several W³ Awards for Web, Mobile Web and Animation Creative Efforts

Indianapolis-based digital design studio wins three gold and six silver awards

Indianapolis, IN – October 2, 2013 – Local digital design studio, The Basement, has claimed nine W³ awards for several projects. The 2013 W³ Awards named The Basement a gold award winner in the Website Features-Visual Appeal category, for Bad Guy on the Block, a gamified web experience The Basement conceived, designed and developed for Defender Direct. W³ also named The Basement’s own redesigned and re-launched web site a gold award winner in both the General Website Categories-Self Promotion and Mobile Websites-Business categories.

Headquartered at historic Fort Benjamin Harrison, The Basement spends its days producing custom, cross-channel digital media for local, national and international brands. The studio also claimed six silver awards in the following categories; General Website Categories-Games and Gaming Related, Bad Guy on the Block, Website Features-User Experience, Bad Guy on the Block, Website Features-Visual Appeal, The Basement web site, Branded Content, Business to Business, 100 Reasons Indiana, and Web Video – Animation, 100 Reasons Indiana.
